How do I fit a reusable nappy?

Modified on Mon, 7 Jul at 4:26 PM

Getting the right fit with your reusable nappy is key to keeping your baby comfy and leak-free. Here's a simple guide:

  • The nappy should sit snugly around your baby’s tummy and thighs - secure, but not too tight. You should be able to slip two fingers inside the waistband.

  • Place the back of the nappy nice and low, then pull the front up as high as you can before fastening the hook and loop tabs. This gives you the most absorbent coverage at the front, where it's needed most.

  • For smaller babies, the front should come up high enough to cover their belly button. Use the hook and loop to adjust the fit as your baby grows.

  • Lastly, double-check that the leg cuffs are gently tucked into the creases of your baby’s legs and not sticking out. This helps stop any leaks.
