How should I dry reusable nappies?

Modified on Mon, 7 Jul at 4:32 PM

We recommend air drying your nappies whenever possible. It’s gentle on the fabrics, and more conscious of the planet, too!

If you can, hang your reusable nappies with the inner towel pulled right out and facing the sun. Direct sunlight helps speed up drying and even naturally bleaches any stains.

A few more top tips for drying your reusable nappies:

  • Hang nappies with space between them so air can circulate
  • Avoid drying directly on a radiator
  • Tumble drying is okay now and then, but only on a cool setting. Just keep in mind that it may shorten the nappy’s lifespan over time.
