How long do your skincare products last for once they’re open?

Modified on Mon, 7 Jul at 4:12 PM

We know how important it is to keep your baby’s skincare as safe as possible, and that includes making sure that all of those daily essentials are still in date and safe to use after opening.

Here’s a simple guide to how long our products last once opened, to help you keep track:

  • Baby body lotion – 12 months
  • Body butter – 6 months
  • Baby hair & body wash – 12 months
  • Baby bubble bath – 12 months
  • Baby body oil – 12 months
  • Stretch mark oil – 6 months
  • Breast balm – 6 months
  • Magic salve – 6 months

These timeframes are based on storing your products at normal room temperature. If in doubt, check the open jar symbol on the packaging - that little number will tell you how many months it’s good for after opening.

Our top tip for remembering when you opened something: a little sticker or note on the bottle can work wonders!
